By far the busiest airport in Canada, this is also the main hub for Air Canada. It saw 45 million passengers in 2023 and its website is www.torontopearson.com/en

Parking
There are a few options at the airport and an online booking tool here www.torontopearson.com/en/transportation-and-parking/parking
Express Park - Terminal 1 only, short-term, cannot be reserved, $6 for rtwenty minutes ($5 2000-0000), $59 for 24 hours, three minutes walk to Terminal 1
Daily Park - Terminals 1 and 3, premium economy covered, $7 for twenty minutes ($6 2000-0000), $38 for 24 hours, five minutes walk to Terminal
Preferred Park - premium economy reserved parking, $6.50 for twenty minutes, $42 for 24 hours, five minutes walk to Terminal 1, three minutes walk to Terminal 3
Fast Track Parking - Terminal 1 only, drop-off option (i.e. valet service), $20, three minutes walk to Terminal 1
Value Park Garage - economy covered, $30 for 24 hours, six to twelve minutes by Terminal Link train to Terminals, runs every four minutes
Value Park Lot - economy uncovered, train to the terminals, $25 for 24 hours, nine to fifteen minutes by Terminal Link train to Terminals, runs every four minutes
Viscount Station Reserved Lot - economy uncovered, closest outdoor lot, pre-booking only, variable pricing, six to twelve minutes by Terminal Link train to Terminals, runs every four minutes
Drop Off
There is an off-site drop off at Viscount train station that is free. This then allows a train connection to the Terminals, running 24 hours per day and every seven minutes.
In addition, there is an Express Pass that allows eighteen minutes free parking in the covered car parks for drop-off.
Also, the Express Park and Daily Park offer short stays for fees (shown in Parking).
For pick ups there is also a cell phone waiting area, free for forty-five minutes.
And if that's not enough, there is a one minute drop off and pick up option directly outside arrivals and departures. As the name suggests, no waiting is allowed.

There is a fast track called YYZ Express. This is a free service that must be pre-booked and operates in peak hours. Exact availability depends on details of your flight.

Shuttles
Hotel shuttles are organised by each hotel and should be available at all of the above (apart from ALT Hotel Toronto Pearson which can be reached by taking the Terminal Link train to Viscount).
There are shuttles for the off-site parking. These leave from the following locations.

Immigration

Reclaim
In the reclaim area check the boards for which carousel you need to attend. Should luggage go astray you can visit the service desk where you can complete a PIR (Property Irregularity Report).
Customs

Taxis
Taxis can be found on the arrivals level of both terminals. There is an online estimate tool here www.torontopearson.com/en/transportation-and-parking/taxis-and-limos
Taxis should carry a GTAA number plate. Exact pick up points are Door D for Terminal 1 and Doors D, E and F for Terminal 3. It is about $75 to the city centre. Ride Sharing is also available.
Buses and Coaches
Buses head into the city. Companies available are as follows.
TTC - express buses connecting with the subway, from both terminals.
GO Transit - suburban services from Terminal 1
Midway - various city routes
Brampton Transit - express service to Brampton

Rail and Trams
The Union Pearson Express (UP Express) runs from the airport to Union station in the city, stopping at Weston and Bloor on the way.
UP Express - 0527-0057 Mon-Fri, 0627-0057 weekend and holidays, every fifteen minutes, twenty-five minute journey, $12.35.
There is a station at Terminal 1 so passengers should use the Terminal Link train if they are at Terminal 3. Tickets for the UP Express can be bought online, at machines, at customer service counters or with a Presto card.

Terminal Transfer
There is a free Terminal Link train between the terminals. This also connects with Viscount station and Sheraton Gateway Hotel, with connections at Viscount for ALT Hotel and Value Parking.
It runs 24 hours a day and it is between two and eight minutes between stops.
Terminal 1 - follow signs to Parking Garage Level 5 then escalator to the platform
Terminal 3 - follow signs to the Sheraton Gateway Hotel pedestrian bridge then escalator to the platform
For much of the day (0330-0800 and 1130-0030) the maximum wait is four minutes. this extends to eight minutes 0030-0330 and 0800-1130.
Car Hire

You will find Avis/Budget, Dollar/Thrifty, Enterprise, Hertz, National/Alamo.
Desks can be found on Level 1 of the parking areas at both terminals.
