Sydney is sometimes known as Mascot, as that is the suburb it is located in, five miles south of the city. It's one of the main gateways into Australia and saw 29 million passengers in 2023. Its website is www.sydneyairport.com.au/

Parking
There are specific areas for Domestic and International flights, and some other options too.
Domestic - P2 (five minutes walk to T2 and T3, short and long term parking), P3 (eight minutes walk to T2 and T3, short and long term parking), Blu Emu (shuttle bus to T2 and T3 every fifteen minutes 0300-2330, every twenty minutes 2330-0300, budget option). There are valet options too - Qantas (0500-2330, at the end of T3 arrivals), T2 Premium (0500-2330, T2 departures level) and T2 Pre-booked (0500-1100 frop off, 1300-2330 pick up, opposite T2 arrivals next to priority pick-up).
International - P7 (five minutes walk to T1, short and long term parking), P7 Premium (two minutes to T1 from Level 1, short and long term parking, pre-booked only). There are valet options too - P7 SYD (0500-2330, ground floor of P7 car park next to the terminal) and T1 Premium (0500-2330, T1 departures).
There are accessible spaces in all the car parks, including Blu Emu.

Drop Off
There are drop off and pick up points at Terminal 1 (just south of the P7 car park) and Terminals 2/3 (just west of the P2 car park). These can be used for free for up to fifteen minutes. For longer stays the short term options should be used.

Ibis Budget - five minutes shuttle to T1, few minutes walk to T2/T3, shuttle runs 0500-2300
Mantra - five minutes shuttle to T1, few minutes walk to T2/T3, shuttle details not known
Aerotel - within T1, minimum stay six hours, gives a discount to the Plaza Premium lounge
Rydges - two minutes walk to T1

Shuttles

Taxis
Ranks are at the front of all terminals and supervisors are present at peak times.
The Sydney centre is about twenty minutes drive and should cost about $50. There is a $5.45 airport toll.
Ride Share is also available. At Terminal 1 pick up signs after the exit to Arrivals hall A. At Terminal 2 follow green signs for Priority Pick Up. At Terminal 3 collection is outside the terminal.

Buses and Coaches
There are a couple of services from the airport to Sydney suburbs, from early morning to about midnight.
350 to Bondi Junction, every ten minutes
420 to Mascot station
Rail and Trams
There are stations at Terminal 1 and Terminals 2/3. This uses the T8 Airport and South line to get to the city in thirteen minutes and is also referred to as Airport Link. There are about six per hour.
The Terminal 1 station is just past Arrivals Hall A. The Terminals 2/3 station is accessed from the arrivals level of the terminals.
To use the service you can purchase an Opal card or use a contactless bank card.

Terminal Transfer Bus - 0530-2130, every fifteen minutes, ten minute journey, T1 outside Arrivals Hall B, T2/3 on the arrivals level outside the terminal, free

Bus 420 - stops at Arrivals, $3.20
