Also known as Son Sant Joan Airport, Palma de Mallorca serves the Balearic island of Mallorca (Majorca). It saw 31 million passengers in 2023 and its website is www.aena.es/es/palma-de-mallorca.html

Parking
There are various options at the airport. General - opposite the terminal (a few minutes walk), aimed at stays under four days
Long stay - a few minutes by free shuttle bus (0600-0000 every twelve minutes, 0000-0600 on request)
Preferential - two minutes from departures, located on the fourth floor of the car park
VIP - valet service, drop-off at the side of the terminal
Express VIP - aimed at drop-off and pick-up
Express Arrivals - free for fifteen minutes, aimed at pick-up
Express Departures - free for ten minutes, aimed at drop-off

Drop Off
For drop-off you should utilise the Express car parks already detailed. Rates are not known but are charged per minute beyond any free times shown.

Taxis
There is a signed taxi rank at the airport and their site specifically warns against engaging with taxis at other locations. The official point is at Floor 0 Arrivals. From 0600-2100 Mon-Fri, and Sat 0600-1400, €3.31 flag down fee, €0.58 per km, €19.52 waiting time
All other times and holidays, €4.25 flag down fee, €066 per km, €18.98 waiting time There are supplements for Cala Rajada (€3.08) and Mountain Supplements for some other locations from €4.26 to €8.52
Buses and Coaches
There are three routes to the airport.
Route A1 - Palma Centre
Route A2 - S'Arenal
Route 34 - Hospital son Espases
All the above cost €5 and the stops at the Terminal are at Floor 0 Arrivals and Floor 2 Departures
Rail and Trams
There is no rail service at the airport.
The nearest connection is the Metro station in Palma City, at the Intermodal station at Placa d'Espanya. The A1 bus can be used to reach the station.
