East Midlands sits in between Derby, Nottingham, and Leicester, and is also a large cargo hub, with 3.2 million passengers in 2023. Its website is www.eastmidlandsairport.com

Parking
East Midlands has a range of parking options - meet & greet (two minutes walk to the terminal, in effect this is valet parking), short stay (up to five minutes walk to the terminal with three separate areas), mid stay (seven minutes walk to the terminal with three separate areas), long stay (five minutes shuttle to the terminal) and Jet Parks (up to fifteen minutes transfer to the terminal).

Drop Off
There is a Rapid Drop Off that is £5 for up to fifteen minutes and £1 per minute after that.
Next is a Short Stay Drop Off, with up to thirty minutes for £6 and up to an hour for £8, aimed at people wanting to accompany the passengers to the terminal. It is in Short Stay 1 and 3.
There is also a Long Stay Drop Off, free for up to an hour.
All of these options allow drop off and pick up.

There are a handful of restaurants available at East Midlands.

Shuttles
The car park and hotel shuttles run every fifteen minutes.
Immigration
For all international travellers you should check entry requirements on the official government site. In this case it is www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration and you will find details on the ETA scheme there too.

Reclaim
Just follow the signs after immigration and you will come to the baggage reclaim area. There are boards that you should check for your flight number, and that will indicate which carousel you need to attend. There are trolleys available in the area.
Customs
There are two channels - green (nothing to declare) and red (items to declare).

Taxis
Arrow Cars are the only company allowed drop off and pick up at the terminal at East Midlands. You can find details here www.eastmidlandsairport.com/getting-to-and-from/by-taxi/
Buses and Coaches National Express have routes into the airport, due to its fairly central location. These routes use variable pricing. The Coach Park is close to the arrivals hall.
Various local buses also connect to the airport.

Rail and Trams
There is no station at the airport but five miles away you will find East Midlands Parkway. This connects to the airport using a bus service called Nottsbus.
There are also train stations at Derby (twelve miles), Nottingham (twelve miles) and Long Eaton (seven miles) that can all be reached using the Skylink buses above.
