Although serving the smaller city, this is Scotland's busiest airport due to the popularity of Edingburgh. There were 14 million passengers in 2023 and its website is www.edinburghairport.com/

Parking
Edinburgh has a range of parking options - Fast Park (close to check-in, just hand over your keys), Terminal parking (a few minutes walk to departures), mid-stay (ten minutes from departures), long stay (eight minutes from departures), multi-storey (hand luggage only, direct footbbridge to security), Plane Parking (ten minute shuttle ride, five per hour), drive up and park (a few spaces left for those unable to pre-book). Drop Off
Edinburgh drop off is on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park. It is £5 for ten minutes and £1 for each minute after that. In addition there is a free drop off option at the long stay car park.
Security

Although part of check-in rather than security, Edinburgh also has Twilight Bag Drop for flights with Ryanair, Jet2, easyJet and British Airways.
Restaurants and Bars
There are a number of restaurants on offer at Edinburgh.
All Bar One, Barburrito, BrewDog, Bridge & Castle, Burger King, Caffe Nero, Costa Coffee, Fever Tree, Hudson St. Grill. Krispy Kreme, Pret a Manger, Wetherspoon.

Hotels
There are a few hotels serving the airport.
Hampton by Hilton - a couple of minutes walk from the terminal
Doubletree by Hilton - two minutes via a free shuttle
Moxy - five minute walk from the terminal
Holiday Inn Express - regular shuttle for £2.50 return

Immigration
For all international travellers you should check entry requirements on the official government site. In this case it is www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration and you will find details on the ETA scheme there too.
There is a fast track option costing £7.
Reclaim
Just follow the signs after immigration and you will come to the baggage reclaim area. There are boards that you should check for your flight number, and that will indicate which carousel you need to attend. There are trolleys available in the area.
Customs
There are two channels - green (nothing to declare) and red (items to declare).

Taxis
Taxis are near the East Terminal area close to a very large sign that says "EDINBURGH".
The rank is operated by Capital Cars although other taxi firms are allowed to use it.

Various services come in and out of the terminal.

The coach park is south of the multi-storey car park.
Rail and Trams
Trams can be found close to the terminal and are near the East Terminal area close to a very large sign that says "EDINBURGH". Trams depart every seven minutes (between 0700 and 1900) and every ten minutes outside those times. The first tram leaves at 0626 and the last tram at 2248.
Single fare is £7, open return is £9, three-day tram ticket is £18. For any onward train services, the easiest connection is made by tram, with combined rail and tram tickets available. The following shows the tram stops/station names with their connections.
