Dublin Robots

There's an ongoing trial at Terminal 1 Dublin - robots within Departures to help with your hand luggage as part of enhanced assistance at the airport. At present, there are four robots and they wander around the terminal on their own, ready for anyone who wants to use them. They have space for two cabin bags and a little more.

For the trial, they will only be serving gates 102-119 and can only be used by passengers who are members of specific groups that have signed up for the trial. But if it all works out, they may become available for all.

It's an interesting addition to the airport's accessibility options.
