This is the largest airport in the Nordic countries, acting as a hub for SAS and dircetly serving Denmark and south Sweden. It served 27 million passengers in 2023 and its website can be found here www.cph.dk/

Parking 

There are a range of choices at the airport with parking shown by type.


Budget - free shuttle bus 24 hours, minimum five days, from DKK499 per week, car parks P15, P17 and P19, P17 and P19 online only

Default - walkable to Terminals 2 and 3, from DKK1200 per week, car parks P1, P11 and P12, P1 online only, free for first fifteen minutes

Standard+ - five minute walk to the terminals, from DKK1450 per week, car parks P3, P5, P9 and P10, free for first fifteen minutes

Direct - next to the terminals, from DKK1700, car parks P4, P6, P7 and P8, free for first fifteen minutes

We Park You Fly - drop off at the terminal, minimum three days, from DKK949 per week

Drop Off 

For drop-off (and pick-up) there is a short-term car park that is free for fifteen minutes. In addition, the Default, Standard+ and Direct car parks are also free for fifteen minutes. All four options are then DKK65 for up to an hour.

Fast track is available as CPH Express and is normally at Track 1 and Platform 25. This appears to be free and is for Domestic routes only.

Lounges

There are a couple of lounges open to all.


Aspire - Terminal 2, 0600-2000 Sun-Fri, 0600-1930 Sat, DKK210

Carlsberg Aviator - between gates A & B, 0500-2030 Mon-Fri, 0500-2000 Sat, 0500-2130 Sun, DKK209


There is also the Apartment Business Lounge, SAS Lounge and Eventyr Lounge (BA, Emirates, Delta and Norwegian)

Hotels There is one on-site hotel.


Clarion Hotel - close to Terminal 3


The airport is very near Copenhagen city where you will find a range of hotels.

Shuttles

There is no hotel shuttle identified. All terminals and the on-site hotel are walkable, and the city centre is well-connected and close. There is a bus for the Budget parking as mentioned in Parking. This Terminal Bus runs from the Car Rental Centre to Terminals 2 and 2 and then on to car parks P15, P17 and P19.


Immigration

Reclaim

In the reclaim area check the boards for which carousel you need to attend.


Customs

Taxis

There are ranks directly outside terminal 3 (and drop-off points outside Terminals 2 and 3).


It is up to thirty minutes to the centre of Copenhagen and costs up to DKK350. Many hotels will offer fixed-price taxi options. There is a specific rank for anyone heading to Sweden.


Buses and Coaches 

There is a bus stop outside of Terminal 3 (drop-off only at Terminal 2).


Bus 5C heads to Copenhagen Central station and takes about thirty-five minutes.


There are a couple of other services at the airport.


Abildskou bus 888 - to northern Jutland, stop outside of Terminal 2

Greyhound bus 999 - to Malmo (Sweden) via Copenhagen Central station, stop outside Terminal 3


Copenhagen does offer a Citypass for 1 to 5 days in zones 1-4 on all buses, trains and Metro.


Rail and Trams 

There is a train and Metro station at Terminal 3.


Train - heading towards Copenhagen Central station, every ten minutes (daytime) and every twenty minutes (evenings), once per hour (night), journey time fifteen minutes. Connections can be made there to the rest of Denmark by bus, S-Bahn, and bus.


Tickets must be bought before boarding, either at machines or at the DSB ticket office.


Metro - fifteen-minute journey to Norreport station, The Metro runs every 4-6 minutes (day/evening) and every 15-20 minutes (night).


Head towards Kongens Nytorv for changes onto Metro M3 (seventeen stops circling the city taking twenty-eight minutes for the full circle).


In addition, should you need the Cruise Terminal at Nordhavn, head to Kingens Nytorv and take Metro M4 towards Orientkaj.


Copenhagen does offer a Citypass for 1 to 5 days in zones 1-4 on all buses, trains and Metro.
