Also known as Giovan Battista Pastine International, the first airport for Rome is somewhat superceded by its cousin. It is about eight miles south of the city and saw 4 million passengers in 2023. Its website is www.adr.it/ciampino

Parking
There are a few car parks at the airport.
P3 - short stay, fifteen minutes free, two minutes walk to the terminal
P4, P5, P6, P7 - longer stay options, in terms of proximity P4 is the nearest to the terminal, then P5, then P7 then P6
P6 (as well as P8 and P12) are also used by car hire companies.
Drop Off
P3 is free for up to fifteen minutes and is close to the terminal.

There are a few options at the airport.

Reclaim
In the reclaim area check the boards for which carousel you need to attend. Should luggage go astray you can visit the service desk where you can complete a PIR (Property Irregularity Report).

Taxis
Taxis can be found at the Arrivals exit. Authorised taxis are white and will have a TAXI sign on the roof. The area emblem is on the front doors and the licence number is on the front doors, back, and inside.

Buses and Coaches
A couple of routes are available and the stops are in front of International Departures. Tickets can be purchased online, at specific points in Arrivals, or on the bus.
Atral and Rome Air P Bus both head to Termini.
Other companies offer buses further afield including Clikbus, Flixbus, Gaspari Bus, Pronto Bus and Rome Lines.
Rail and Trams
There is no station at the airport but there is a bus that connects with the nearby Ciampino station, departing every twenty minutes. This then provides a route to Termini.
