Parking

The areas are terminal-focused at Charles de Gaulle with a total of nine car parks. The CDGVal and N1 shuttles are free. The CDGVal does not operate between 0100 and 0400.

P1 - indoor, four minutes walk to Terminal 1, premium option is a two minutes walk

The designated drop off area is free for ten minutes and then €1 per minute. There is a real push to encourage the use of the terminal car parks and they are charged as follows.

Shuttles

The main shuttle service is the free CDGVal. As already shown it is linked to most car park areas as well as a number of hotels. These trains depart every four minutes. There are five stops in total. Terminal 1, Parking PR, Terminal 3 Roissypole (five minute connecting walk), Parking PX, Terminal 2.

As noted this runs from 0400-0100 daily. There is an alternative bus from 0100-0400. There is an all terminal shuttle called N1 that has six stops. 2A/2C, 2B,2D, 2E, 2F, Car Park PW, SNCF Rail Station and Sheraton. These run all day and are every ten or fifteen minutes accroding to time of day.

There is also the N2 shuttle that has three stops. 2F, 2E (2130-2300 only) and 2G. These are every five minutes between 0530 and 2300.

Taxi

The airport has strict procedures whereby only taxis at the arrival level gates are authorised to pick up. These taxis have a light sign on the roof. Any person approaching you as you come out of baggage reclaim is NOT an official taxi and should not be used.

Fares are estimated (by the airport) to be €56 for the Right Bank, €65 for the Left Bank.

Buses and Coaches

There are a range of routes from the airport.

Roissy Bus - sixty minutes to Paris Opera, two per hour, airport stops are Terminal 1, Terminal 3, Terminal 2AC, Terminal 2D, Terminal 2EF.

350 - to Gare de l'Est

351 - to Nation

Magical Shuttle - forty-five minutes to Disneyland Paris

Parc Asterix Shuttle - twenty minutes to the park

You will also find coach services leaving from Aeroport Charles de Gaulle 1, via BlaBlaCar Bus and FlixBus.

Rail and Trams

The airport is served by trainline RER B. There are two stations at the airport - Aeroport Charles de Gaulle 1 for Terminals 1 and 3, and Aeroport Charles de Gaulle 2 for Terminals 2A, 2B, 2C, 2E and 2F. The journey is about 45 minutes.

The train will head towards Robinson or Saint-Remy Les Chevreuse. Stations on the route include Gare du Nord, Chatelet-Les Halles, Saint-Michel Notre Dame, Luxembourg, Port-Royal and Denfert-Rochereau. This allows for connections to multiple Metro lines.

It should be noted that you need a specific airport ticket when heading there from the city, rather than a standard Metro ticket but you can use a Paris Visite card if it is valid for zones 1-5. The fare is currently €11.80.

Blue shuttle - 0500-2330 every eight minutes, links Terminal 1, Terminals 2B-2D, Terminal 2E Gates L and Terminal 2F, Terminal 2E Gates K, Terminals 2A-2C. The shortest link is two minutes, the longest eight minutes. A whole circuit takes thirty-seven minutes.

Orange shuttle - 0530-2300 every six minutes, links Terminal 2F to Terminal 2G, journey time ten minutes.
