Ten miles south of the city and named after two former mayors, Atlanta sees the world's largest amount of passengers, and by some margin, with 105 million in 2023. Its website is

Parking
As you would expect with such a large airport, there are a variety of parking options. The prices shown are per day. The car parks start at $3 per hour for shorter stays.
Only a couple of options require a shuttle although one is also available as noted. Otherwise all car parks are a short walk to the terminal.
ATL Select (uncovered $10, covered $14, can be booked online, requires shuttle to the terminal), ATL West ($16, can be booked online), International Hourly ($36, can be booked online), International Park Ride ($14, can be booked online, requires shuttle to the terminal), North Daily ($19), North Economy ($14, shuttle available), North Hourly ($36), Park Ride ($10, temporarily closed), South Daily ($19), South Economy ($14, shuttle available), South Hourly ($36).

Drop Off
North Hourly and South Hourly are the closest to the terminals and are recommended for drop off and pick up. $3 for up to an hour.

Within the Interstate 75/85/285 and Highway 19 (the approximate main road boundary of the airport) you will find the following. Except as noted, the following all have a shuttle service, although some of these are to just one location.

Shuttles
The majority of hotels near the airport run shuttle services. See the link in the Hotels section for an extensive list. Do note that there is much less shuttle coverage at the International Terminal. Pick up points are as follows.
Domestic Arrivals - Ground Transportation Centre/West Curb (outside the terminals). Use exits W-1 or W-2.
International Terminal - to the right of A3 door.
The airport offers the Sky Train. This automated system runs 24 hours a day and connects ATL West Parking, Georgia International Convention Centre, Gateway Centre Arena, Atlanta Airport Marriott, AC Hotel Marriott, Spring Hill Suites, Renaissance Hotel. This will also link to the car hire area.

Taxi
Taxis are available at both terminals.
Domestic Terminal - Ground Transportation Centre/West Curb (outside the terminals). Use exits W-1 or W-2.
International Terminal - outside door A-1.
There is a fixed fee to the city centre although it is then subject to surcharges for the number of passengers and possible fuel surcharge. Downtown is about $36.
Shared ride shuttles are also available.
Domestic Terminal - Ground Transportation Centre/West Curb (outside the terminals). Stall 1-3 for local, stall 4-8 for regional.
International Terminal - minimal coverage, located outside door A-3.
Downtown is about $16.50
Buses and Coaches
Buses are provided by MARTA and they have numerous routes to the city. These are paid for using a Breeze card. Greyhound then offer services to other towns and cities.
Rail and Trams
There is a station at the airport, terminating at the Domestic Terminal, at its west end between the North and South terminals. There are two lines, Red and Gold.
Red - leaves airport from 0450 (weekday) and 0550 (weekend) until 2056 (weekday) and 2050 (weekend). Trains are about every twenty minutes with peak hours on weekdays rising to about every twelve minutes. Heads north through the city centre.
Gold - leaves airport from 0440 (weekday) and 0600 (weekend) until 0120 (weekday) and 0100 (weekend). Trains are about every twenty minutes with peak hours on weekdays rising to about every fifteen minutes. Heads north to the city centre and heads northeast.

The airport does not list its destinations but as you would expect from such a large airport it connects with a huge number of destinations both domestically and further afield. It is a regularly used hub for international travellers looking to connect to other towns and cities.

Terminal Transfer
There is a designated shuttle available between the domestic and international areas. Stops are found as follows.
Domestic Terminal - Ground Transportation Centre/West Curb via doors W-1 or W-2.
International Terminal - Arrivals level via exit between doors A1 and A2.
The shuttle runs about every fifteen minutes and also heads to the car hire area.
Car Hire
This area is reached by either the Sky Train (details under Shuttles) or Terminal Transfer shuttle (details under Terminal Transfer).
